This policy is written for a New Zealand audience and for the Privacy Act 2020. The publisher is YOUNIVI LIMITED (NZBN 9429052621109), Auckland. This site does not offer accounts, logins, comments or user-generated profiles. We do not ask you to create a password and we do not keep a customer register of readers.
What we collect today
The static files that make up this site do not themselves collect names, email addresses or account data. Opening a local copy on your own machine sends nothing to Younivi. A future public hosting arrangement will generate ordinary web-server logs (IP address, user agent, time, requested path). Those logs are used to keep the site up and to diagnose faults, not to build a marketing profile.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
There is no cookie banner on these pages because the pages do not set product cookies. Advertisement rectangles you see are reserved slots only. Live advertising code is not embedded, and we have not invented a publisher identification number for an ad network.
If the public site later uses an advertising network or a standard analytics tool, those third parties may set cookies or use similar local storage to measure traffic and to show ads. When that happens we will update this policy, name the services, and — where the law or the network requires it — provide a consent mechanism. Until then, treat any future-cookie language as a notice that this is how a typical ad-supported information site will work, not as a description of code that is already running.
What we do not do
We do not sell a list of readers. We do not run a login. We do not collect dates of birth, IRD numbers, or information about your loans. Email you send to [email protected] will be read to reply to you. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask whether we hold personal information about you, request access to it, and request a correction. The Privacy Commissioner’s office (privacy.org.nz) explains those rights in plain language. To make a request, use the contact page. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Privacy Commissioner.
Overseas disclosure
If we later use a US or EU analytics or advertising vendor, some technical data (such as IP address and cookie identifiers) will be processed outside New Zealand. We will name those vendors here when they are actually switched on.
